Kars tulum peyniri, 500g. Traditional aged skin-cheese.

Tulum peyniri is one of Turkey's traditional cheeses, aged in a goat or sheep skin (tulum) for months until the flavour develops. Kars (in eastern Turkey) is one of the classic regions for it. Sharp, crumbly, salty, deep. A proper cheese-board cheese. Also crumbled onto salads, folded into börek, or served with warm bread and walnuts. 500g pack keeps for weeks refrigerated.
