Halal sourcing statement.

All meat that we market as halal is sourced from butcher partners or suppliers who represent the meat supplied to us as halal. We seek relevant supplier assurances and documentation and review the information available to us.

Unless a product page or this statement expressly identifies a certification body and the certified scope, Halal Bristol does not claim that it, the full website, every supplier or every product is independently certified by HMC or by any other named certification body.

We publish a certifier name, logo, certificate reference or certificate scope only after the relevant documentation has been received and checked. Certification can apply to a specific supplier, site, product range or period; it must not be assumed to apply beyond the scope expressly stated.

We do not describe meat as hand-slaughtered, non-stun, stunned or by any other specific slaughter method unless current supplier information supporting that claim has been verified for the relevant product or supply chain. Where verified information is available, the product page or supporting document will state the scope of the claim.

For packaged grocery products, any halal logo or statement is the claim of the manufacturer or responsible supplier shown on the packaging. Customers should check the product page and the physical label, as product formulation, manufacturing site and certification status may change.

If halal certification or slaughter method is material to your purchase, contact info@co-bridge.co.uk before ordering. We will provide the current information and documentation that we are permitted to share. Do not rely on an old image, social-media post or previous supplier status as evidence of current certification.

We will update this statement when verified supplier or certification information changes. We will not knowingly overstate a certification status or publish a halal claim that we cannot reasonably evidence.
