Delivery policy.

Last updated: 1 July 2026

6.1 Delivery area

We provide local delivery to eligible addresses in the Bristol area. Delivery availability is determined by postcode at checkout. We do not offer national courier delivery under this service.

6.2 Minimum order and delivery charges

  • Minimum order value: £45, calculated after product discounts and before any delivery charge.
  • Standard one-off delivery charge: £4.99 for eligible orders below £65.
  • Free standard delivery: automatically applied to eligible orders of £65 or more.
  • Regular Orders: no separate delivery charge at launch. Any future charge will be shown before enrolment and communicated in advance for existing Regular Order customers.
  • WELCOMEHALAL: free standard delivery on one eligible first order by a new customer, subject to the £45 minimum order, one use per customer, and successful entry of the code at checkout. Orders of £65 or more already qualify for free delivery automatically.

The charges shown at checkout control where they differ because of an authorised temporary promotion, provided the full price is displayed before payment.

6.3 Same-day and scheduled delivery

  • Same-day order cut-off: 2:00 pm (14:00), subject to postcode, stock and daily capacity.
  • Delivery window: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
  • Scheduled delivery: customers may choose from the next seven available delivery dates shown at checkout.

The website may close a date or suspend same-day delivery when capacity, stock, weather, vehicle availability, food-safety requirements or other operational conditions make delivery impracticable.

6.4 Delivery times

The delivery date is selected at checkout. A time within the 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm window is an estimate unless we expressly confirm a narrower slot. Traffic, road closures, weather and route conditions may affect arrival time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide an update where a material delay is known.

6.5 Address, access and contact information

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate address, postcode, telephone number and any access instructions. Please tell us about flats, gates, concierge arrangements, parking restrictions or access limitations that may affect delivery. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused solely by materially inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you.

6.6 Receiving the order

Someone should be available throughout the delivery window to receive chilled, frozen and other perishable goods. Please check the order promptly and place temperature-sensitive products into suitable refrigeration or freezer storage without delay.

6.7 Safe-place and neighbour instructions

You may provide express instructions to leave an order with a named neighbour or in a specified safe place. We retain discretion not to leave perishable goods unattended if the place is insecure, exposed, inaccessible, contaminated, too warm or otherwise unsuitable. If we follow suitable instructions with reasonable care, we may record the order as delivered, subject always to your statutory rights.

6.8 Missed delivery

If no one is available, we may call or message you and may attempt an authorised neighbour or safe place where suitable. A repeat delivery is not guaranteed and may incur a reasonable further charge if the failed delivery was caused by absence, access problems or materially inaccurate information. If perishable goods cannot safely be redelivered or resold, we may be unable to refund their price. We will assess each case fairly and will not restrict statutory rights where we were at fault or the goods were defective.

6.9 Delay, cancellation or inability to deliver

If we cannot deliver on the selected date, we will contact you and offer a reasonable alternative, which may include a later delivery date or a refund for the affected order. Where delivery by the agreed date is essential and consumer law gives you a right to cancel, that right is not affected.

6.10 Capacity and availability

Delivery dates are subject to daily capacity. A date may appear as unavailable or fully booked. Submission of an order does not reserve a delivery date until the order has been accepted.

6.11 Chilled and frozen goods

Temperature-sensitive goods are transported using suitable insulated containers and cooling materials where required. We may refuse unsafe delivery instructions. Once delivery is completed, you must refrigerate or freeze the goods promptly and follow all product-specific storage instructions.
