Öncü Hot Pepper Paste

Turkish hot red pepper paste. Fiery salça for kısır, dips and marinades.

Biber salçası is the red-pepper counterpart to tomato paste, and Öncü's hot version is the classic. Ripe red chillies cooked down until the paste is deep, glossy and properly spicy. Not for the timid. Standard uses: kısır (Turkish bulgur salad), lentil soup, meat marinades, the base of Adana kebab, or a spoonful into hummus for smoky heat.
