Bosanska Kafa Coffee

Bosnian coffee, roasted dark and ground fine, prepared much like Turkish coffee in a small pot. Served with a cube of sugar held in the teeth or a piece of rahat lokum on the side. Bosnian coffee is ground very fine, close to Turkish coffee, and made in a džezva, a small long-handled pot. Bring water to the boil, take it off, stir in a heaped teaspoon per cup, return it to the heat until it foams, and pour. It is served with a lump of sugar and a glass of water. Keep the pack sealed in a cool cupboard. Ground coffee loses aroma within a few weeks of opening, so a smaller pack used quickly beats a large one kept long.
