A 1kg bag of akdeniz-style Turkish rice, medium-round grain grown in Mediterranean-facing paddies. Behaves like a baldo grain: rinse, soak in warm salted water, cook with butter and stock until the grain doubles and the top steams a spice ring. The pilav rice for a weeknight dinner.
