Raja Brand prawns are Penaeus vannamei (whiteleg) prawns, cooked, peeled and deveined with the tail left on, then frozen. The label gives a net weight of 180g and a gross weight of 300g, the difference being the ice glaze. Thaw them in the fridge and add them at the end of cooking, since they only need warming through: in a prawn curry, a garlic and chilli stir-fry, fried rice or a seafood pasta. Contains crustaceans.
