Istanbul Chilal Cheese is a white string cheese packed in brine in a glass jar, 400g net (950g gross with the brine). Pull the strands apart by hand and serve them on a breakfast plate with olives, tomato and bread, or warm them into a toastie or a cheese pastry. If you find it salty, soak the strands in cold water for a while before eating. Contains milk.
