Kaşar (kaşkaval) is the Turkish melting cheese. Mild, buttery, pale yellow, and it goes stringy under heat just like a good mozzarella. Sütaş's tost kaşarı is cut and sized for the classic Turkish toast sandwich. Uses: Turkish tost (grilled sandwich), on pide, melted over menemen at the end, grated onto pasta. Also excellent sliced cold on a breakfast plate alongside beyaz peynir for contrast. 600g family pack.
