Halal Diced Beef (Boneless)

Fresh diced halal beef for stews, curries and skewers.

Boneless beef cut into even cubes and packed in 500g, so a stew or curry goes straight from pack to pot. Prepared to hand-slaughter standards and diced to order on the morning of delivery. Because the pieces are a similar size they brown and cook at the same rate, and with slow cooking they turn tender and take on the flavour of the sauce. Fry it with onions for Turkish kavurma, simmer it into a Pakistani beef karahi or aloo gosht, or cook it with kidney beans, dried lime and plenty of herbs for Persian ghormeh sabzi. It also threads onto skewers with peppers and onion for the barbecue. Pat the cubes dry and brown them in small batches; if the pan is crowded they release water and stew instead of colouring.
